When I first heard that the Creepshow torch that flickered out in the late 80s (it’s best for us all if we just ignore Creepshow 3/Raw…), was going to be reignited at Shudder, and with Greg Nicotero at the helm? I hadn’t felt nostalgic-tinged excitement like that for a bit. And upon it’s streaming release, this reboot’s twelve terrifying tales didn’t disappoint! Adaptations and original concepts directed by equal parts genre veterans and wunderkinds successfully preserved the creepy, irreverent tone of the first films, and an eclectic cast surprised and satisfied for a variety of reasons. With the physical release, folks now have access to interviews with the cast and crew, behind the scenes footage, commentaries, galleries, and more. Plus the box cover glows-in-the-dang-dark!

Creepshow: Season One is available now.
