We’re all screaming for frosty deserts (and more) after our first taste of the ‘Ice Cream Man’. Kiddos making snow angels in a pools of blood. Holding down a woman while one of them takes a bat to her stomach. Others loom over sleeping parents. Very much along the lines of something like Mom and Dad, or Cooties, but this time with that Roth brand…glee?

Ari Millen plays the titular ice cream man, with several cast members from Roth’s Thanksgiving returning alongside him, including Karen Cliche, Shiloh O’Reilly, and Charlie Storey. The film features original music from Emmy-winning composer Brandon Roberts with additional contributions from Snoop Dogg, and Nas is attached as executive producer.
Ice Cream Man is the first film out of The Horror Section, Roth’s independent genre label founded in 2025. The company’s upcoming slate also includes Don’t Go In That House, Bitch!,
It is currently unrated, and opens August 7th.
