This year was a busy one for Chris Hardwick, but lucky for us he took a moment between moderating basically…all panels, to show us the trailer for The Hive. This is the first film acquired by his company, Nerdist Industries, & it is filled to the brim with dead eyes, young love, & black blood. Originally debuting at Fantastic Fest 2014, this is a huge lunge in the right direction for Hardwick. Fingers crossed that this will be another outlet for exceptional indie horror in the future.
Directed by David Yarovesky (Team Unicorn), & produced by Cary Granat (Scream 2 & 3), the Hive is expected to be available in the fall on VOD, & with a limited theatrical release.
