Following a 14 year wait, 3 From Hell opens with a 10 minute pseudo-doc summary that left me engrossed. Instead of playing the same note, ‘the 3’, having survived 20 bullets a piece, evolved during the decade they’re been behind bars. Otis, while still fully psychopathic, has grown wiser. Steering this VW van of violence with a more calculated (still blood covered) hand. Confinement wasn’t kind to Baby, who as a result has gone a bit wacky. Floating in her old world, this is Sheri at her best/most unhinged. A hole in screen time left by Haig is filled by Richard Blake (the best part of 31). A white trash translation of Richard Ramirez that goes by “The Midnight Wolfman”, rejoins the family and quickly finds his place. This resuscitation of the Rejects is hedonistic horror you don’t see anymore.

3 From Hell will be available on VOD & DVD October 14th, 2019.
