Survive features themes of suicidal ideations and self harm. If you or anyone you know is considering suicide or is anxious, depressed, upset, or needs to talk, there are people who want to help. Reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

Survive is a harrowing tale of survival after a plane crash leaves just 2 passengers stranded in the icy wilderness. Jane’s plan was to end it all but after emerging from the wreckage, she finds a new drive to live as she and her fellow survivor, Paul, trek to safety. Survive is a Quibi show, meaning each episode is about 10 minutes long. The format has its pros and cons – it can be consumed easily during your day, but the story can feel incohesive. The pacing doesn’t seem right for this particular genre and the character development feels rushed to accommodate the format. Despite that, Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins have good chemistry and the show feels movie-quality even on my tiny phone screen. I’ve only seen 7 episodes, but if the series can pull off ‘horror’ in small bites then it’s a winner.
