Deadcon follows internet sensation AKAshley, as she attends Viewcon, a premiere convention featuring Youtube stars and social media influencers alike. When she arrives for the event, she finds her hotel double-booked, and unable to accommodate her – until a room magically opens up for her. There, she experiences electrical shortages, disembodied noises, and an unshakable chill in the air – all the telltale signs that the hotel harbors a deep, dark secret. Deadcon’s low-budget scares, loose premise, cheesy dialogue, and wholly unlikeable characters, make the film an easy “horror” watch – but you probably won’t see me promoting it on my instagram anytime soon.

Deadcon premiered at Cinepocalypse 2019.
