‘Sun Choke’ Proves All Little Girls Are Fucking Hateful

“Janie’s  just trying to get well. As she recovers from a violent psychotic break, she’s subjected each day to a bizarre holistic health and wellness regimen designed, and enforced, by her lifelong nanny and caretaker. But when she develops an obsession with a stranger, Janie’s buried demons begin to surface.”

I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t mention how excited I am to see Sarah Hagan in a film like this. Although it’s somewhat of a departure from her role as the Fun Dip loving, Millie Kentner on the criminally short lived series Freaks and Geeks, I embrace it open arms.

Sun Choke had its world premiere at the 2015 Stanley Film Festival.
