It’s Fear and Darkness, Inside and Out in ‘The Long Night’

CULTS. Ladies, gentleman, and everyone else…we have a cult movie.

A young couple (Scout Taylor-Compton; Rob Zombie’s Halloween 1 & 2 and Nolan Gerard Funk; The Flight Attendant, Truth or Dare) relocate to the south from NYC, in hopes to track down and reconnect with Grace’s (Scout Taylor-Compton) parents. However, things quick turn for the worse when an actual cult turns up on her literal front lawn.

This movie is chock-full of amazing imagery. The design of the cults wardrobe, the symbols and items they possess and use…it’s giving me all the right vibes. Looks down right spooky. The home looks nice, but set in the old South so you know it’s got a creepy past and has seen some things. Overall, this thing looks more than promising. It’s been a while since we’ve had a decent cult flick.

Also, if you share the same phobia of snakes as Indy Jones…be warned for this trailer. Because I got got a couple times during it.

Catch The Long Night February 4th, 2022 in theaters or VOD.
