The Insidious: Chapter 3 trailer reveals that the movie will be an origin story, set before the first two films. Psychic Elise Rainer (played by Lin Shaye) and her crew seem to be the only familiar characters, aside from the possibly-overused song from chapters 1 & 2: “Tiptoe Through The Tulips” (though the version for the new film uses a children’s chorus to up the creepy value). A couple very good jump scares in the trailer, and hints of a movie that may be just what theater-goers need to hold them over until the horror releases of Halloween season. Out May 29th – the Frightday crew will definitely be checking it out!
