A 666-Character Review of ‘Wayward Pines: Do Not Discuss Your Life Before’

Now that Ethan, our hero, is immersed in the oddness that is Wayward Pines, the second episode’s tone seems to match his desperation to return home to his wife, Theresa, and their son, Ben. That desperation is almost tragically mirrored when we see Theresa back home, wondering if her husband has returned to his lover, Kate, or is truly missing and in danger. The Wisteria Lane facade of Wayward Pines shows an increasing number of cracks; Ethan befriends Beverly, the bartender, and the conclusion of “Do Not Talk About Your Life Before” is intense to say the least – looking forward to seeing how this labyrinthian story continues to unfold in the next episode.
