What if your protective childhood imaginary friend became real? According to Channel Zero: Dream Door, the results would be horrifying. In season four of Channel Zero, Jillian & Tom, a newlywed couple, move into Tom’s childhood home. Their seemingly happy marriage is turned on its head when Tom finds a locked door in their basement. Jillian discovers she’s the only person who can open the door, and the thing “inside” is out for blood. I’ve only seen the first three episodes of Dream Door—the full season recently dropped on SyFy on-demand—but season four seems filled with the relatable chills that made Channel Zero’s ‘Candle Cove’ & ‘No-End’ House terrifying.
