Lily recruits more acolytes and trains them with Dorian, but Justine continues to undermine Dorian. He’s amused by them, but they prove to be a threat to him. The seed of doubt has been planted and I predict a betrayal. Vanessa meets Catriona, a badass woman who does what she likes in the face of disapproving society. It’s suspicious that she believes Vanessa’s story so readily and knows so much about Dracula, but we’ll see if she’s a true ally. Ethan’s tiresome family story is finally resolved. He doesn’t go through with his new evil path which is predictable but annoying. Vanessa reunites with Dr. Sweet which makes me cringe considering who he really is. This episode is slower than I expected since only a few of the many story lines actually moves in any way. Reunions next week look promising.
