Apartment 212, previously entitled Gnaw, is a low budget horror film, about a woman who ends up with mysterious marks on her body after moving into a new apartment. Between bad writing, sub-par performances, even worse dialogue, and a visual aesthetic that screams day time soap opera; the creature design might be the single positive I can pull away from the film. The premise suits a short format much more than the feature we got, as the first hour of the film is pure setup. It’s not an absolute train wreck, but it’s not something I can recommend. If you want campy, creature feature/body horror, skip this and check out recent films such as Stung or Dead Ant.
