SCREAMBOX Kicks Off 2026 with ‘the Dæmon’, ‘Blood Barn’ in Growing Originals Push

Cineverse’s SCREAMBOX is having a ‘moment’, with subscribers jumping 18% year-over-year as of December 2025 (pretty cool!), and the Bloody Disgusting-backed streamer is capitalizing with its first wave of 2026 programming. The announcement arrives just as Bloody Disgusting celebrates its 25th anniversary, making me feel very old, and marking nearly five years since SCREAMBOX joined the Cineverse family.

Currently streaming:

  • Season 16 of Bloody Bites (new episodes every Friday)
  • Macon Blair’s The Toxic Avenger reboot (finallllly)
  • British zombie series Generation Z (pensioners hungry for human flesh)
  • Self Help (cult infiltration thriller)
  • and Savage Flowers (orphans vs. infected foster home).

Coming Soon:

  • The Unknowable: Darkland (February 3) – Supernatural investigation into disappearances at Darkland Amusement Park
  • Blood Barn (February 17) – Teens’ last summer barn party turns fatal when night falls
  • Pig Hill (March 10) – Local “pig people” legend becomes real as tenth woman vanishes
  • The Dæmon (March 17) – Father’s lakeside suicide haunts son who returns to confront ancient force beneath the water

These titles join existing programming including Terrifier 2 and 3, the Hell House LLC trilogy, Black Christmas, British series Bedlam and Being Human, plus indie fare like Street Trash, Frogman, The Barn 1-2, and Outwaters. But keep your eyes peeled, as SCREAMBOX refreshes monthly with content from Cineverse’s extensive genre library.

“With a mix of originals, exclusives, and more great programming that horror fans love, we’re extremely proud how far SCREAMBOX has come,” said Cineverse VP Tom Owen, who co-founded Bloody Disgusting.

SCREAMBOX is available on iOS, Android, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Comcast, Cox, and screambox.com.
