A 666-Character Review of ‘Krampus: The Reckoning’

Oh Boy. That’s the phrase I repeated several times, aloud, whilst watching Robert Conway’s holiday horror flick Krampus: The Reckoning. In this film, token creepy child Zoe, with the help of her not-so-imaginary-friend Krampus, punish those who have been deemed “naughty” by burning them alive. Though an A+ film it is not, I found myself genuinely curious as to where the story would take me. Despite the obviously CG Scooby-Doo villain (who’s shown in his entirety within the first 5 minutes of the film) and the atrocious acting, this movie’s twists and turns, as well as a surprisingly good performance from our main character kept me thoroughly entertained. If you’re curious about this film and can overlook it’s 2.5/10 rating on IMDB, check it out on Amazon, Redbox, or iTunes today.
