Into the Forest portrays some sort of apocalypse that has society collapsing, resources gone, and individuals looking out for themselves. Amidst the chaos and violence, two sisters stick together and take care of each other at any cost. It looks touching at times, but also suspenseful and horrific at other times. I’m intrigued by both the apocalypse the destroys water, radio waves, and other forms of fuel and communication and also by the human story between two devoted sisters.
Look for Into the Forest in theaters this summer.
