A gang of psychos kidnaps carnival workers and challenges them to survive for 12 hours while being constantly attacked by their minions. The film seems to combine aspects of The Hunger Games and The Purge with dashes of Zombie’s trademark dark sleazy style and over the top violence. I’m incredibly excited to see Malcolm McDowell back in the role of a gleeful homicidal maniac. Richard Brake also looks frightening as an insane and bloodthirsty clown. 31 looks like brutally bloody good fun.
