Insidious is back for its fourth installment, providing more depth to Lin Shaye’s character, Dr. Elise Rainier. Giving more attention to the most charismatic individual in the franchise seems like a wise route for writer Leigh Whannell (Saw, Dead Silence). There are plenty of big names behind this release, such as director Adam Robitel (The Taking of Deborah Logan) and producers Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and James Wan, so it will be exciting to see what they’ll bring to the big screen. If the trailer is any indication, nightmare fuel is on its way.
Insidious: The Last Key will be begin its theatrical release on January 5th, 2018.
