When a college student unfriends a mysterious girl online, she finds herself fighting a demonic presence that wants to make her lonely by killing her closest friends.
Last year’s Skype-centered film Unfriended blazed a trail for others within the genre to make horror more relevant and relatable to a generation that is constantly immersed in technology. Along those same lines, Friend Request will focus on a girl who is haunted by a strange presence that uses Facebook to isolate her from those who once cared for her, playing on a very real fear inherent in all of us, whether we choose to accept it or not.
