In this singular exploration of legacy, love, loss, and the enormity of existence, a recently deceased, white-sheeted ghost returns to his suburban home to try and reconnect with his bereft wife.
It must be stated that A Ghost Story looks like an incredibly well executed film. The design and the tone are crystal clear here and it’s immensely enjoyable. That being said, there is a question as to whether or not the film’s intense focus on ideas will be enhanced by those production details, or if it will derail the otherwise interesting premise and production. It’s ambitious, to say the least, and certainly one to keep an eye out for.
