Vampire Hunters Come In All Shapes, & Social Classes, in ‘JUGO’

Following the success of recent of horror comedies like What We Do In The Shadows, or last years Hell Baby, how could you keep looking down at your smart phone, & ignore the endearing presence (and scent…) of JUGO?

Josh Ruben & Vince Peone are an extremely talented writer/director duo that I’ve had my eye on for a long time. For years they’ve been slowly, & hilariously dominating the digital video world, from shorts for CollegeHumor.com & Comedy Central, to the viral revival of Zoolander‘s return to the runway at Valentino. It’s about time they attempted something more macabre.

Not only is Josh a great director, he’s a massive genre fan. I highly recommend you listen to his podcast, “The Mindhouse Podcast”, where his talks to comedians, actors, & directors. “…kind of like “WTF” but far less articulate.”.  A great place for horror fans to start would be Episode 21, his interview with The Final Girls director, Todd Strauss-Schulson.
