When Owen is forced to confront the past he’s been running from his whole adult life, he and his girlfriend, Isabel, become entangled in a horrifying web of lies, deceit, and murder. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll be scarred for life.
A surprising and capable cast make up this romantic horror comedy, and that alone has me sold on it. The trailer presents some seemingly lighthearted horror with an eerie aura that there is going to be quite a bit more than we’re seeing. The illusion is helped along by review quotes that sound as if they’re for a different, more gruesome film. This has all the makings of a good horror comedy, we’ll just have to wait and see if it can bring it all together.
