I have to say, I don’t quite know what to make of the teaser trailer for Kasra Farahani’s upcoming film Tilt. The overall feel is very much in the psychological thriller vein, but I’m also seeing plenty of less subtle doses of surrealism what with all the spooky masks and body paint. That said, I’m a little tired of pregnancy horror at this point, which is decidedly where this seems to be headed. The trailer certainly does a good job of keeping the main storyline under wraps. I’m genuinely curious to see what this film turns out to be.
Tilt premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 22nd, 2017, and does not yet have a wide release date.
