Ah yes, another “kill people so you can win a twisted game” thriller. Feeding off the popularity of the Hunger Games franchise (and how it blatantly ripped off Battle Royale prior to that), The Belko Experiment takes an all-too-familiar plot and moves it to the corporate world. Featuring Scandal‘s President Grant, Silicon Valley‘s Big Head, Scrubs‘s Dr. Cox, and Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer‘s title serial killer, the cast is talented and promising.
I’m all for anxiety-inducing, sadistic killing games like this, but I hope that it brings something a little different to the table.
