Four friends on their way to Coachella stop off in Los Angeles to tour true-crime occult sites, only to encounter a mysterious young runaway who puts them on a terrifying path to ultimate horror.
There’s a vague sense of anachronism about this trailer. The era is completely modern, but it feels exactly like the kind of story you’d hear from a concerned parent in the heyday of satanic panic. There’s teenagers flirting with the occult, a concert to see, a mysterious stranger, and the devil with his worshipers. The story feels a tad predictable, but this could go in enough directions that I’m not sure they’ve really given away anything at all.
