I was lucky enough to catch The Invitation at last years Stanley Film Festival, so trust me when I say, go in blind. No more trailer, no more articles. This was the best thing I saw last year, which due to our internal “wide release” rules, was left off of my best of list. Masterfully acted in a situation so tense it felt like I did a thousand crunches during the course of its 100 minute runtime.
