Stanley Film Festival: Day 3 Wrap Up

Another incredible day at the Stanley Film Festival. Before sunrise, the dedicated investigators participating in the Immersive Horror Game continued to hunt for clues to piece together the interactive mystery, while the rest of us recovered from the first two days of horror and fun. Again, more films and happenings than we have room to mention, but here are Frightday’s highlights:

The Boy impressed audiences with a chilling, realistic glimpse into the origin of a sociopath.

The World Premiere of Sun Choke drew a sold-out crowd at it’s mid-day showing.

The Final Girls elicited screams, tears, and laughs with an impeccable homage to slasher movies.

Even up against the tempting Closing Night Party, Ted Geoghegan’s We Are Still Here filled the Historic Park Theater and scared the hell out of the audience with one of the festival’s only ghost stories.

Ready to squeeze every last scream we can out of SFF’s last day – stay tuned for our final wrap up tomorrow!
