Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) stars as a troubled man on the run from fate in Buster’s Mal Heart, the latest effort from Sarah Adina Smith, the brilliant mind behind The Midnight Swim. Malek’s no stranger to troubled men—he plays one brilliantly on USA’s Mr. Robot. The first season proved that USA was worth than simply being a place where one could watch Law & Order: SVU for nine hours straight. In fact, Malek’s compelling performance made Mr. Robot one of TV’s most interesting new shows in 2015. In turn, Smith turned the stomach of audiences in pretty slick and stylish way in The Midnight Swim, and she took home a pocketful of awards from respectable film festivals.
