Momentum Pictures has just released the new theatrical trailer for writer/director Jordan Galland’s SXSW hit film Ava’s Possessions. Described as “The Hangover, but with a lot more demons,” Ava’s Possessions is a dark horror comedy about a young woman’s struggle to return to normalcy after her recent exorcism.
Ava Dobkins is recovering from demonic possession. With no memory of the past month, she is forced to attend a Spirit Possession Anonymous support group. As Ava struggles to reconnect with her friends, get her job back, and figure out where the huge bloodstain in her apartment came from, she’s plagued by nightmarish visions – the demon is trying to come back.
Will Ava be able to piece together the missing month of her life and avoid another possession, or will her demons come back to haunt her? Find out when Ava’s Possessions becomes available in select theaters and on VOD March 4, 2016.
