In just two short months Magnet Releasing and XYZ Film are releasing XX. February 17th marks the VOD release of the anticipated horror anthology. With an all-female lineup of directors and killers, XX is a collection of twisted stories told by talented women.
The directing team features Annie Clark (AKA St. Vincent), Karyn Kusama (The Invitaiton), Roxanne Benjamin (Southbound), and Jovanka Vuckovic (The Captured Bird). Their four segments (The Birthday Party, Her Only Living Son, Don’t Fall, and The Box) will all be wrapped together by award-winning animator Sofia Carrillo.
Actors of note in XX include Natalie Brown, Melanie Lynskey, Breeda Wool, Angela Trimbur, Sheila Vand, and Christina Kirk.
Those who attend the Sundance Film Festival in 2017 can catch XX in the Midnight category, as well as a handful of the creative minds behind the film (Roxanne Benjamin, Sofia Carrillo, Annie Clark, and Jovanka Vuckovic).
