Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade.
Sometimes franchises go on for too long. They make wild loopholes in their plots to ensure the villain can continue doing their dirty deeds. The trailer for Jigsaw, the latest installment in the Saw franchise, provides a refreshing self awareness on this topic. Making it a focal point in the teaser, they’re certainly not trying to sweep the antagonist’s demise under the rug for the sake of a cash grab.
From what we can see in the trailer, the innovative “games” forced upon the unsuspecting victims are clever, sadistic, and utterly terrifying.
