Has any thought of going into the water and placing a plug in the hole that is allowing the water to enter into the water ways? Seems to me if you stop the water you get rich.

It’s practically a sure thing. Just need a cartoon cork.

I found this podcast when I was searching for Emelie’s reviews and became one of my favorites.

I loved Emelie, it’s so much creepier and darker than I was expecting, left me very unconfortable in some scenes and builds up the tension perfectly in other scenes.

Sarah Bolger performance is outstanding, she brings so much layers to the character (which it’s very well written) and her backstory really worked for me.

I agree that the parents are the worst characters, I think the movie would benefit with less screen time of the dinner, but my biggest let down was the ending. It was so grounded since the opening shot, but they went for the easy way out. If it was a darker ending the film would be almost perfect for me.
