Chase Crawford, of Gossip Girl fame, plays the protagonist in this upcoming Hollywood horror. The plot–tracking down medical records in a now defunct psychiatric facility–seems like something we could avoid in 2016. Perhaps there will be a few good jump scares, but this strikes me as the run-of-the-mill, the-best-scenes-are-in-the-trailer flick. On a more optimistic note, the movie plays off of true tales of hauntings at the former Eloise Hospital outside of Detroit.
