Two years after Creep surprised audiences everywhere, the creative duo of Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass are at it again. Pre-production has begun on a sequel film, currently titled Creep 2. Details are few and far between regarding the plot of the film, but rumor has it that it will focus on a new “creep,” potentially taking the series into anthology territory.
Playing opposite of Duplass will be horror newcomer Desiree Akhavan. Akhavan’s previous credits include a part on HBO’s Girls, and writing, directing, and starring in the feature-length comedy Appropriate Behavior.
Also of note is the production team for Creep 2. Executive Producers include Blumhouse’s own Jason Blum; Christopher Donlon returning as an editor and producer; documentary film producer Josh Braun; and longtime Duplass collaborator, Mel Esyln.
