A 666-Character Review of ‘Unfriended’

High school is embarrassing enough as it is with drama and gossip. Add social media to the mix and you get ‘Unfriended’. The film takes place entirely on the screen of teenage girl’s computer desktop. While six friends group video chat, an unknown Skype user blackmails and unearths each of their shameful pasts. Killer gossip and some rib-tickling death scenes will definitely keep you entertained. Moral of the story? Never post anything embarrassing online or it just may come back to haunt you. It’s a decent film. Recommended if you’re interested in “The Den” or ‘found footage’ in general. If adolescent drama annoys you, at least stick around to see who dies.
