A 666-Character Review Of ‘Scream: Jeepers Creepers’

Scream writers seem to be on a roll this season. After last week’s big reveal of (spoiler) Jake’s dead body, and Noah’s discovery of (BIG spoiler) Audrey’s apparent involvement, it was going to be tough to top. While this episode didn’t supersede the last one, it was at least a strong continuation, and had some interesting character and relationship developments. Zooming in on just the core cast, Jeepers Creepers gives audiences one ultra-creepy setting, a few near-misses, and one character tapping into something a little darker inside of them than they’re comfortable with. Most interestingly, perhaps, is the feeling that something didn’t happen that was supposed to. The scene in the abandoned fun park plays out, but feels unfinished. New night aside, Scream season 2 is going great.
