A 666-Character Review of ‘Horns’

I’m still not sure how well this fits into the horror genre, but since the edges of that category seem to be losing more and more definition, we’ll call it part of the club.  Essentially, a young man (a post-Potter Radcliffe) is accused of murdering his girlfriend.  Assumed to be guilty by his small town, he gets drunk one night and, out of frustration, defaces the girls memorial and curses God for taking her.  The next morning, he wakes up with horns, which seem to have a very odd effect on those with whom he comes into contact.  Ok movie, with some wonderfully dark humor, but not a ton in the way of scares. Think Piranha 3D Alexandre Aja, not Mirrors Alexandre Aja.
