What is your favorite desert island band? I can’t decide honestly. I thought it was Nirvana, but then thought it might be American Nightmare. but then, creeping in the back of my head is five or six other bands that have sat with me over the years. I still can’t decide. Green Room poses this question, & many more, giving you so much to think about.

 

Director Jeremy Saulnier (Blue Ruin) properly captures the essence of do-it-yourself touring, as well as the magic of being at a live show. Driving behind the films authenticity is the terrifying reality of being caught up in something so horrific, you almost forget that the biggest guy in the mosh pit was the only thing to be afraid of. The cast across the board drives home their performances. Patrick Stewart masterfully striking intense fear into you, while Anton Yelchin gives you someone to rally for.
