A 666-Character Review Of ‘Devil Dolls’

Sometimes it’s difficult for a film to follow through with its opening. In this case we’re given a drill-to-the-head kill about four minutes in. That’s a tough act to follow for sure. But despite that this tale of cursed voodoo dolls left behind by a notorious serial killer to terrorize the cop who ended his crime spree does a decent job of keeping the fun kills and drama flowing. There are some rough spots to be sure, but the unique concept is unique, the performances solid. The fun kills are more than enough to warrant a watch. If you’re aching for a supernatural thriller with a great idea behind it, you’ll definitely be able to overlook the few slow bits.
