You guys, you guys, you guys…wow. I could speculate as to what is happening really happening, but I’m 95% sure we’re not seeing the full picture. More likely just a corner. I will however point you in the direction two Cloverfield aficionados who’s insight might be helpful. Steve Zaragoza (SourceFed), & Mike Falzone (Welcome to Our Podcast, my actual friend) recently started a compelling and hilarious podcast called Cloverfeels. If you’re as perplexed as I am, I highly recommend you crack open a Swamp Pop, and let Mike’s theories, & Steve’s rationality crawl into your ears.
I’m absolutely digging these surprises. It’s nice to know originality in genre promotion isn’t dead.
